Lauren Ash-Morgan is an actor who has been a part of the SSC's board from 2011 is the Founding co-artistic director of the recently formed theatre company Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. The producer was also of costumes/sets, composer/musician and text coach for SSC during her time as its Artistic Director. Although she usually led from within her acting ensemble In her final season with SSC King Lear, she was promoted to director and lighting designer. She participated as a cheerleader. She went to Pomona College for a short period of time, and later she graduated in Lewis & Clark College, both of which are located in Oregon. Post she got married to Stephen Knox in the past. The couple has been together since 1982 to Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer with whom she shares two daughters.
